have been around as long as there have been people. Over the
years, people have come up with creative responses like:
- If you loved me, you wouldn't ask
- I want to make sure you like me for myself
- If you think I'm going to fall for that, you don't know me at all
- I wish you cared enough to keep your hands to yourself
- I do love you, and that’s why I'm saying "No"

Learning a bunch of replies isn't the answer, though. For every reply there's another line, and for every line there's another reply. You can't learn them all. And even if you could, who wants to play verbal ping-pong for an hour?
